We are just over 3 weeks away from the 2019 Parade of Garage Sales. Get rid of all that still good clutter from spring cleaning! To participate in the Parade of Garage Sales, make sure your membership is up to date and send an email to
Signs will be available to direct people to your house. Signs can be borrowed for a $10/sign deposit. You can borrow more than one sign if you like (while quantities last). Sign pickup will be one evening the week before the Parade, details to be provided later.
Community BBQ on June 22nd from 4:30 - 6:30 PM
After the parade, come join us for a Community BBQ! In the late afternoon we will be hosting a free BBQ for Millrise Community Association Members. There will be entertainment for children and the school playground is nearby. Come out and meet your neighbours and tell us what you'd like to see from our Community Association. The BBQ will be held near the skating rinks and community shed beside Our Lady of Peace school. If your membership has expired, please come anyways and renew or pay to attend (price TBD).
